Giving Tuesday 2020

On Giving Tuesday (01 December) 2020, Tigers4Ever is trying to raise at least £5000 so our Anti-Poaching Patrols can remain doubled until at least April 2021. We need to do this to address the increased risks currently faced by wild tigers due to the continued economic impacts of COVID19.

If you can help Tigers4Ever to achieve this target in any small way, that would be wonderful, especially as for one day only GlobalGiving is promising a share of $1million in bonus matched funds for online donations received between 05:00 (01 December) and 04:59 (02 December): https://goto.gg/34704.

Giving Tuesday is coincidentally the birthday of Tigers4Ever Patron – Martin Urch and he has kindly offered to be a champion for wild tigers by organising a Birthday Fundraiser to help our quest: Martin’s Birthday Fundraiser and donations received via this link will help our cause with bonus matched funds too.

Wildlife presenters (BBC Autumn Watch) and friends of Tigers4Ever: Megan McCubbin and Chris Packham have also recorded a video message to ask if you can help the wild tigers on Giving Tuesday too, you can watch their message here: Megan and Chris Giving Tuesday message for wild tigers. Your online gift for wild tigers via: https://goto.gg/34704 will qualify for bonus matched funds from GlobalGiving all day, so please take a moment to help wild tigers on Giving Tuesday because tomorrow may be too late!

Tigers4Ever Ambassador Pietro P J Danby (and Shashi the wild tiger) are getting involved too. Shashi will be five years old on 03 December 2020, a milestone age for a wild male tiger as it dramatically increases his chances of long term survival. Pietro is hoping that his friends and Shashi’s followers can help Tigers4Ever to reach their fundraising goal too by donating at his fundraiser to say happy birthday Shashi: Pietro’s fundraiser. Again these online donations will receive GlobalGiving bonus matched funds all day on Giving Tuesday.

Whichever, link you choose to help, rest assured your gift will help us to keep wild tigers safe. 2020 has been an awful year for us all, let’s end it by doing something good and giving wild tigers the wild future which they deserve.

Thank you.
