Shashi is a 7-year-old male tiger in Bandhavgarh National Park, brought to the public’s attention in the BBC Earth documentary, Dynasties, when he was just a cub.

Now, at seven years old, like all young male nomadic tigers, Shashi must find his way in the world. Plus, there are new obstacles in the COVID-19 times. He has already been through a lot in his young life. When he turned five it was a major milestone for a young male tiger! Shashi’s reaching age seven demonstrates his will to survive against all odds. Shashi is most definitely his father’s son….

You can find some exclusive Shashi material here: Shashi: Tiger Encounters, is a podcast mini-series of 5 episodes, which follows on from the written story, A Day In The Life of Shashi the Tiger, produced especially for Global Tiger Day on 29 July 2019, by Former Tigers4Ever Ambassador Pietro P.J. Danby (19 April 2019 – 19 November 2021). Pietro continues to play Shashi.

You can listen to the Shashi podcast mini-series right here by scrolling down, or find it on Apple, Spotify, Anchor, or YouTube and Vimeo at Tigers4Ever. It follows a day in the life of Shashi, highlighting what a young tiger faces…
